Biography
Burak was born in Mersin,Turkey and finished his bachelor's at Izmir,Dokuz Eylul University. He later moved to Prague to complete his master's degree in Civil Engineering at Technical University of Ostrava,Czech Republic. He moved across the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in civil engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, after developing an interest in the construction engineering and management of successful engineering corporations while attending Technical University of Ostrava. His future research interests include composite materials in civil engineering, construction management, and building energy efficiency. He likes to play soccer and kick-boxing in his free time.
