Biography
Pooja serves as the Financial Assistant for the Fibers, Composites & Manufacturing Facility (FCMF) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She supports the facility's financial and administrative operations by managing procurement activities, coordinating budgets, and assisting with workforce development programs that advance FCMF's research, education, and industry partnerships.
Before joining FCMF, Pooja worked in pharmaceutical research and development, where she gained valuable experience supporting scientific research and technical operations. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Through her expertise in financial administration and operational support, Pooja helps ensure the efficient day-to-day management of FCMF while enabling researchers, faculty, and students to advance innovative composites and manufacturing research.
