Biography
Junbeom Son (Jun Son) is a graduate research assistant in manufacturing and machining with a primary focus on milling dynamics for both metal and carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials. His work integrates experimental studies, cutting force modeling, and finite element analysis (FEA) to improve machining performance and process stability.

Tool wear in CFRP milling, mechanistic cutting force modeling, chatter detection, and FEA-based dynamics
