    Jashandeep is an Summer Intern at the Fibers, Composites & Manufacturing Facility (FCMF) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research focuses on advancing thermoplastic composite manufacturing through the development and optimization of carbon fiber tape processing technologies.

    At FCMF, Jashandeep contributes to the development of a thermoplastic carbon fiber tape production line, supporting research on advanced manufacturing processes for high-performance composite materials. He collaborates with faculty, graduate researchers, and fellow undergraduate researchers on projects aimed at improving the efficiency, quality, and scalability of composite manufacturing technologies.

    Outside of the laboratory, Jashandeep enjoys staying active by playing tennis, pickleball, and volleyball, and values spending time with friends
