Biography
Originally from India and raised in Bahrain, Ashish is pursuing a Ph.D.
in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville. His research focuses on recycling plastics from end-of-life
vehicles to advance circular economy practices and reduce
environmental impact. By integrating polymer processing, materials
characterization, and life cycle assessment, his work seeks to develop
practical pathways for reusing plastics in new applications. He
collaborates closely with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the
American Chemistry Council.
